Dual Exhaust Sizing

OK now that I have the routing for my exhaust system figured out, I want to make sure I have the sizing correct. I have a 300hp 350 recently rebuilt. The shop that rebuilt it calculated that the new HP is closer to 340-350hp. The car has the ram horn exhaust manifolds and dual exhaust (Not headers). I took it to an exhaust shop for an estimate and they said I should use 3". That seemed awful big. What would the correct size for the exhaust system? Thanks
