The '67 sat motionless for a couple of months as
it needed a new mini-starter, Summit revised their perfect fit design and I've been juggling three different versions at $200. a piece... Well, decided on the 3hp version (one day will be a Big Block y'know), but didn't like how the wires would burn against the headers in these new versions.
Fabricated a "wire mount" from a thick copper pipe stock with a pressure fitted terminal at the opposite end and covered it with high temp wire insulation.
"Heat Wrap" would be a cop-out since it would probably hold in more heat than it deflects, so that was a non option.
Also killed my Optima battery. Prices are now $170 because they have silver in them! Needless to say, an expensive two months of experimentation.
