George, I agree with 367's. That is the front muffler hanger for all 1967 and 1968 big cars regardless of engine size. In addition, there was no mirror image of that part. They are the same LH and RH. Perhaps the part is marked wrong and is not a 67-8 at all??? Try loading a picture as many of us are very good at looking at items and knowing exactly what they are.
