Yes, Firedrake Industries is the company. It's a Northern California based startup, with the mission of developing unique technology-based emergency response products that have large life and property preserving components. The founder and president spent 31 years with the California Department of Forestry, much of it in senior field and command center management positions. He really knows what problems and dangers firefighters face, and what solutions make sense.
Perhaps I'm just a tiny bit biased, but I think Firedrake has a great future. They are really good folks to work with!
