This is the "official" notice that is posted on our suppliers "dealer site". The Peerless Transmission group is still in business along with their compressor business. Tec was run into the ground by reckless mis-management. Due to their instability, not 1 OEM bought Tec engines for their 2009 power equipment.
Our supplier says parts won't be any problem and they will be around for several years. I can't imagine any supplier having a 1 year supply of parts sitting on the shelves, let alone several years! There will be aftermarket stuff but I bet as a whole, Tec will die out real fast.
Just opens the door for more Chinese junk.
