Lightweight and flexibility is the key. The results are like I feel like Rip Van Winkle. I wake to find a new world. I was doing simple research about a Multimaster-type recip tool that Fein of Germany pioneered. This is the same sort of devise I marveled at cutting my casts off in and earlier thread. That one was probably a Stryker( curiously before that I marveled at The Stryker Fast Armored vehicle) there has to be a sense of infinite Good Humor in things) Anyway as Fein Multimaster is very good and very expensive and the patent expired there are similar tools out there to compete. At the lower rung is Chic Elect at around 40$ US and a new arrival is the Rockwell with good reviews at betwixt 140-170$ US.
However. It seems these are not "Rockwell" as ole Rip wakes to see there is no Delta, no Rockwell and no Delta-Rockwell. There is Rockwell part of Positec Power Tools (Suzhou)Co. Ltd. which is a suite in N.C. It seems there are warnings and litigation on power tools they supply because OF; THE CRAFTSMAN LOGOS ON THEM PEEL OFF AND JAM THE WORKS. The remedy is to remove the Craftsman labels! This is a Fein state of affairs. How did we get to this?
