A buddy of mine has a 1988 Dodge truck with the 318. He does not drive it very often so he does not change the oil very often but the other day he got a oil light and gage also dropped to 0. He checked with a real oil pressure gage and still 0. Someone told him to change the oil filter as the paper in some filters will cause this. His oil looked clean. He put a new filter on and his oil pressure is back to normal. Has anyone here seen that problem before and do you buy the paper in the oil filter as the problem?
