It matters not Mark. Don't you realise the anointed one has descended from on high to save all of the unwashed, ignorant masses from worse than death? It means noting that Democrats made "daficit"* spending a trumpet call for their 2006 takeover of the congress. It does not matter this guy ran on a platform of "fiscal responsibility". You see, if only the right people are allowed to run everything, then there will be no fear of a totalitarian/tyrant run government. Remember, this guy transcends everything in politics. Why, we're in a "crisis", we're in dire straits. So sensibility, responsibility, and thinking are not required and frankly are discouraged.
Your examples should be an EYE OPENER for all these idiots who voted for this. They were allegedly all upset about the debt, daficit* spending, corruption, and government intrusion. At least when the "intrusion" involved profiling terror suspects. When it dawns on all these brain trusts that there will NEVER be enough "rich" people to rob to pay for this stuff, then an only then will they understand it will be DEMANDED they "contribute" to the coffers. It will be interesting to see the faces of these geniuses when it dawns on them they don't exactly fit the demographic he has in mind for helping. Of course when their country, their heritage, their culture, their pension, and their personal freedoms are gone, there will be stunned faces and a lot of wailing. Thanks for nothing geniuses.
