It's hard to imagine what it was like 80 years ago, work for $2.00 a day, gas for a nickel etc. But the real inflation didn't start till 1970's??? I remember gas at $0.32, new Chevy Nova for $2791. and pay was $150 month. geeze,we're getting old!
