I would say yes but also be aware that I don't know the exact circuit. I doubt that a wiring diagram even exists except in some Chinese factory. Usually I get into those type projects and spend hours tracing wires and drawing my own diagram. If I paid myself a dollar an hour I would still lose money. Also I have started out with good will and created a problem in these unknown type projects.
I have a good friend fellow co-worker that offered to repair the next door old couple's VCR that had been hit by lightning. He found some bad diodes and parts in the power supply and bought a $27 power supply repair kit from his local shop. After replacing the parts, the VCR still did not work and he did not have the heart to charge this old couple for the parts that did not fix the VCR. I think they bought a new one for $69.00
