The worst thing about accumulating all that 'stuff' is finding it when you need it.
It does no good to know that I have one of these someplace, if you can't remember where you put it.
Having said that, I cannot see the point in selling something just so someone off the street gets a bargain.
Even being unemployed, with NO hope of finding a job, it will be a long time before I break down and sell anything of mine, and if I do, I will price it at what I paid for it, when I bought it, many years ago.
I have given away many, many, things over the years to 'friends' , and got very little in return.
In 56 years, I can count my true friends on less than one hand. And one of them, I cannot understand why he considers me a friend, I am honored, but mystified.
