The following Florida US Representatives voted "YES" on HR 2454 "American Clean Energy and Security Act" other wise known as "Cap & TAX". The representatives named below have voted in favor of doubling your energy costs with TAXES. Few people have paid attention to "Cap & Trade" or more correctly called "Cap & Tax" since this bill does:
NOTHING for the environment.
NOTHING for using our own resourced to break our dependence on imported fuels.
NOTHING for building of nuclear power plants.
NOTHING to improve energy sources.
What this bill does do is:
INCREASE your electric TAXES by no less than 48%
INCREASE your motor fuels TAXES by no less than 49%
INCREASE the cost of everything you buy (goods & food) by no less than 40%
INCREASE the likelihood that you will loose your job because those business who can, will move to China or other such places who are smart enough not to adopt this insane legislation created solely as a TAX INCREASER that is supported by nothing but lies. Those businesses who cannot afford to go overseas will likely terminate their operations completely. Those business who do stay will be required increase their products/service charges by 40% to 150% just to cover their increased cost of operations.
These Florida representatives have voted to destroy the American capitalist business system. These Florida representatives have voted purely to TAX the living snot out of YOU!

If you think this bill is about anything other than RAISING YOUR TAXES, actually you're right. This bill is about taxes and political power. I have said it before and I will keep on saying it until people 'get it' - our country runs on two things: Energy and Communication. Take away either or both and people instantly become slaves. The test was run in NOLA during hurricane Katrina; the gun confiscation order was issued and the sheep lacking communications with others willfully gave themselves over as slaves to the state.
A few things about Global Warming or Global Climate Change since they can't make up their mind what they're calling the lie this week. Back in the 1970's, actually starting in 1968 the BS spreader ramped up to full capacity from 1975 to 1980 ... we were all going to die in within 30 years when the ICE AGE hit. Critters and people in the north would be frozen to death where they stood. People will be "ice fishing in Florida by the year 2000". All the world's oil and coal supplies would be strictly rationed by 1995 and completely exhausted by 2000.
Then came the claims of GLOBAL WARMING ... OH we're all gonna die! Earth on fire. Polar bears drowning. Shorelines flooded out. Bungalow's in the Bahamas bursting into flames. The wicked witch of the east melting ... ooops, that's the 'other' fairytale. Well, with all the burning death by fire and drowning being hyped, none of the fairytale writers took notice to the temperatures actually falling and when they did, the fairytale changed yet again to "global climate change".
They're still hyping the CO2 thing, I suppose in hopes that people won't look up the actual data themselves and find that CO2 levels were many times higher 180,000 to 200,000 years ago when cattle & pig farms didn't exist, nor did SUV's. I suppose the fairytale writers also don't take into account that people can look at the data from the dozens of volcano eruptions recorded in just the last 100 years and find out that volcano's dump massive amounts of these alleged "greenhouse gases" and "CO2" and "SO2 - Sulfur dioxide" and "Solid pollutants" including caustic ash into the air every time one decides to spout off. It injected large amounts of aerosols into the stratosphere—more than any eruption since that of Krakatoa in 1883......... I find incredible that all of humans and thier domestic animals across the entire world supposedly produce less than 3% of the total carbon emissions and we're killing the earth yet, one single volcano, Mt. Pinatubo, dumped more of these alleged "earth-killing" pollutants into the atmosphere in less than 24 hour than all of mankind has been able to produce 'combined total' since man has been on the earth.
When you counter the fairytale writers with the facts about Co2 levels, they go into the "rate of change" story. Well, let's see here.... back before coal-fired power plants, SUV's and "greedy Americans", about 150,000 years ago there was a swift, rapid, speedy, quick, abrupt, alarming "rate of change" when the global temperature average jumped at least 3°C (5.4°F) in just a few short years. This abrupt temperature increase is what resulted in the growth of lush green forests on Greenland thus resulting in it's given name! Go look at the factual data that shows it was at least 6°C (10.8°F) warmer about 125,000 years ago than it is today.
Don't forget, back in the late 1800's, "leading climate scientists" were warning of the rapid "global warming" caused by the industrial revolution that was going to consume the earth and how they needed massive amounts of the taxpayers' money to "study the looming disaster". The fairytale changed in the early part of the 1900's when "leading climate scientists" were spreading the alarm of the coming ice age and demanding massive amounts of taxpayers' money to "study the looming disaster". In the 1940's & 1950's it was spit with some claiming death by burning heat, other's claiming death by freezing but in both cases they fought hardest for the taxpayers' money to "study the looming disaster".
There are some things that have remained constant over the last 120 years or so:
1- The scientific facts don't support the science fiction.
2- It's always the fault of the "people".
3- The most important concern is getting taxpayer money.
4- The politicians being able to spin the fairytale so as to confiscate more of your money and impose more control over every aspect of your life.
Just using some round figures, the "American Clean Energy and Security Act" will cost the average Florida household between $4,100 and $9,400 in additional taxes each year. Just remember that at election time and think of how the politicians can spend your money so much more wiser than you!
You think it's bad just having to pay the massive additional taxes, just wait until the GE-Obama partnership gets their "smart grid technology"; you won't have a choice, use more than your allotted amount of electricity and GE-Obama cuts your power off completely. Government needs to do "spy sweeps", they'll simply cut the power and communications just as was the case in NOLA. For all those of you who continue to say/think, "It'll never happen" ... need you be reminded of how Obama confiscated and assumed control of General Motors and Chrysler? Need you be reminded of the gun confiscation in NOLA? Perhaps you'll have a different view when you're standing in the government food line for your metered allotment of double-watered gruel?
BTW, I called Grayson's (D-FL) office in DC yesterday around 16:00 and the hired liar claimed "Mr. Grayson is still undecided" but not ten minutes later the same office released a pre-recorded radio statement of him not only supporting cap & tax but wishing it was even more taxing and enslaving!
