I must admit I don't know much about trailer wheels. I know I had to match up a set real quick to get some stuff moved. I don't recall if they were Bud wheels or not. There were other trailers at that time and i get mixed up. I plan on towing an aprox 5k lb machine on this one axle trailer for the axle is very stout and origionally the tires and wheels were up to the task. One blew years ago and all that went away except still I could use that trailer for a trip or two with a smallish loader backhoe. What fit at that time were wheels from a Tracker which was a Mitsubishi or something SUV. I'm thinking 4 1/2" bolt circle 5 lug but what I need to know is What is the combination on a 1 axle trailor wheel and tire that can safely handle 2 1/2 tons?
