After a year of no satisfaction under the lifetime battery warranty that came with my Ridgid 18 volt 1/2" chuck cordless drill, a new battery arrived Thursday! At the time of the failure, warranty service was handled through the local HD store. The sales receipt for the drill had gone completely black from the heat of my vehicles interior - yeah, stupid mistake to make. Someones gotta make 'em, right?

During a visit to the local HD, the Tool Department manager suggested taking the drill and batteries to a repair shop that had recently been authorized to handle Ridgid brand power tool warranty service. That was August 10.
Gotta love how a new battery makes an old drill feel likew a new drill!
