The President's scheduled post-"Labor Day" speech to school children...
In this speach, Obama intends to mention "the importance of personal responsibility" as per the "Grades 7-12 classroom activities" (http://www.ed.gov/teachers/how/lessons/7-12.pdf)
Throughout Mr. Obama's life, his message has been exactly opposite to that of "personal responsibility" in that everyone should look only to government for all their needs.
In the "Grades PreK - 6 classroom activities" (http://www.ed.gov/teachers/how/lessons/prek-6.pdf) we find the following quotes: "What do you think the president wants us to do? Does the speech make you want to do anything? Are we able to do what President Obama is asking of us?"
(Information on broadcast and downloads can be found here: http://www.ed.gov/admins/lead/academic/bts.html)
Chatter among the "public school teachers" suggest that the "I Pledge" video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51kAw4OTlA0) has already been, or will also be, shown in public school classrooms across the Union ... allegedly the "I Pledge" video is being presented as "an educational tool for environmental and social awareness". The video speaks for itself, it's only 4min 19sec, please click the link, ignore the video and just listen very carefully to what is being said.
I don't think it's necessary to point out to most of the people here but this is the same type of indoctrination that was/is used by such wonderful world leaders like Kim Jong Il, Hugo Chavez, Benito Mussolini, Uncle Joe Stalin and that other guy ... Adolf something ... Oh, Yes, Hilter was his name and his goal with school children was "the rise of the Hitler Youth"!
So, how's that "change" working out for you?
