Hand power tools - what doesn't suck?

My old Porter Cable circular saw and 9" grinder are wonderful. My old Black & Decker 3/8" drill motor is wonderful. My old Stanley 1/2 hammer drill is wonderful (beats the snot out of you but it works great). New DeWalt recip saws are crap! New Milwaukee cordless drills are crap! New Dewalt cordless drills are crap! New Porter Cable circular saws are crap! New Milwaukee angle grinders are crap! New Porter Cable drill motor are crap! New Milwaukee portable band saws are crap! New DeWalt abrasive cut-off saws are crap! New DeWalt saber saws are crap! New Porter Cable saber saws are crap! That's just the short list, unfortunately it goes on and on..... I've found two brands of portable power tools that have actually proven worth while buying, Metabo and Makita ... neither one American made - of course, most of the other ones aren't either but that's besides the point. Am I the only one PO'ed about this?
