That last link worked fine. That's quite a machine and more complicated then the type i thought.There's serious copper wound Xformer, a fan and it is similar to a welder in ways. There's gonna be all kinda stuff in there to test. The pots are reostats and even the contacts on them or one part of the winding coulda been overloaded. I hope the meter movement hasn't seen rain in it. It is jeweled and there are very fine wires behind it. Don't even attempt adjusting it at this point. I think you will find something visible that will lead to vom tests. If you need a diode or reostat, i've got that stuff. There were a few places that sold CDs that had many operator/parts manuals on one disk. Come to think of it, well i'll check the few I have. Also thanks for your service and there is nothing better than having an accurate mic or torque wrench etc,etc so you Know what you're doing is right to spec.
