Saw it up into 18 inch lengths, then throw it on the campfire. Get your heat meter out of the toolbox, and if you get a reading of anywhere between zero and 36,000 BTU's of energy from the burning rungs and side rails, then the ladder was good for firewood and not good as a ladder.........
