To be completely suspicious is a lonely road. there are times when some of us just accept that. There becomes a crossover point where people just want access to "your stuff" whatever that may be. It could be knowledge,work or tools or stuff like $$$ and when it gets to that point the iron door slams shut. Structures which were once solid crumble like ashes. When you realise you were being played all along and your individuality was so low on the scale that another person could be plugged into your setting, it's rather drastic.
That line- "it's stuff like dis which causes distress"-comes to mind.
She said "you need to go out and meet ..." I said "babe you fixed me up already for a long time".
