Gary, this is about what I thought. I have heard various stories about the JD mowers. I have heard that the big box store models are not the same as what the dealer sells. I have a JD dealer about 3 miles from my house. I am going to drop by and see what they tell me.
I see what you mean about this "price" market. Still I hate to spend $6000 to mow the yard.
