I'm still using my Bosch 14.4 drill I bought 6 years ago with the three original battery packs.
I use it at least every other day and maybe more. I rotate the battery packs and always run them nearly dead, and then fully charge them up. The drill has taken some serious falls from over 20 feet up, been rained on, and generally abused. The hand chuck still grips well, and the adjustable clutch still operates fine. It still runs perfectly and has just as much power as when it was new. The chuck runs true and the front bearings seem to still be nice and tight. When I was looking for a cordless drill the Bosch was the only one that actually fit my hand and allowed me to operate the trigger and reversing switch without changing my grip. I really like that drill.
