I am not able to answer the first question straight away, and will have to check with people in the know. However, as regards to suitable powder coatings on wood and MDF, both thermosetting and UV curing powders are used. This technology is of recent origin and still developing. Europe has been in the forefront of its use, although it was first introduced in the US. Morton Powders and DuPont are two of the well known manufacturers of powders suitable for application on Wood & MDF.
