I am trying to find lyrics to a song , sung in a Sicilian Dialect....it may be called Bedda California. The song tells the story of a man (Zi Vito) who heard about how beautiful things were in California , that he decided to move there ..however once he arrived ..he was disappointed and wanted to return ..as he was worst off there . There is a bit of a comedic slant to the song as the last words of the song (spoken in Sicilian ) are..."Do you know how Uncle Vito ended up...he went there with a cane and returned with crutches! "
Any ideas as to where to find the lyrics , or even a recording of the song ..would be very much appreciated.
