HELP! Need info on traditional Italian folk songs

Hi, I am doing research for a music company and I need to find well known traditional Italian folk songs that are in the public domain in Italy. Preferably with lyrics pertaining to love, friendship, togetherness, etc. Can anyone help with ideas, or point me to the proper resources for this? Thanks!
