Posted by Set Malachai on June 20, 2004, 10:14 pm, in reply to "The man behind the Advocate (1)" This tape wont be released until hes ready for it to be. Set himself owns the only copy of this. Hell distribute it under his own terms. Before we begin, Id like to explain something. Set Malachai is again dressed in the jean shorts, T-shirt and Advocate mask. Since my debut in BBW, there has always been a question of who might I be? Ive heard answers ranging from Jeffy Andrews to Max Bryant, to Kai Scott, to Rooser The Bruiser. I allow rumors, about who I am and what I am, to circulate, because heresy is what makes me who I am. As for who I am, that will be answered. And then, Set Malachai takes off his mask. And his hair comes with it. What we have in front of us now is a man who looks to be in his late 20s. His face is clean shaven, and his hair is a dark and wavy blonde. With a slightly peaky, elongated face, he looks somewhat Elvin, except for the lack of pointy ears. And notably he is not anyone, who any person watching this program will recognize. I am not anybody of import. My name is Carol Malechai. I am 27 years of age, and I hail from Sussex, England. I got my first fix of wrestling watching the predecessor of LBWF. I watched Rooser the Bruiser and Keep It Real Kid in their youth. At one time, I even owned a Little Bruiser T-shirt. He grins, somewhat embarrassedly. While I was training to wrestle, LBWF folded, and given the option of following BBW or IWA, I chose the much more local BBW. IWA was an ocean away, and truth be told, United States wrestling never interested me. It was about flash and flamboyance, and not about the game. In other words, it took all the wrong parts seriously, and all the important parts not seriously enough. This is what I liked about BBW, when I arrived. BBW knew what it was, and it did not try to be anything else. The wrestling fans knew that they would see Gasman and Hardcore Hooch break weapons over each others heads, and that to kick the cards off, theyd be entertained by the Pimp & Bear Connection, the Cardboard Kingdom, and any number of jobber impersonators. Fully trained, and fully aware of the limited marketability of a wrestler named Carol a name that in the states has generally become reserved for women I looked for something. A way into the business without presenting myself. And my luck surpassed all expectations I met Brad Andrews. This was when he portrayed the original Redbone. Nothing like my version, that being The Advocate. Brad sold the gimmick to me dirt cheap. Luciferian imagery was something I only tried as an experiment, and I was surprised how well it caught on. I suppose because Ive had a gift with words. The ability to cut a mean as hell promo, if you will. Under the mask, I spoke in the tongues of darkness, and as I spoke, I gained reputation and notoriety. This is how I came to be the Advocate, and though this time is over I do not regret it. My only true regret is that it seems, my time in the wrestling business has ended. Set Malachai was a marketable personality
Carol Malechai is not. The Advocate was an incarnation of Lucifer
as corny as that may be, what is Carol Malechai? A man with a womans name? Just another random youngster who will never be over because he lacks the personality? I am glad, though, to be given a chance to go out like this. It is better to burn out than to fade away, and hopefully as you know, I am pre recording this hopefully, I will burn out by leading my former enemies Gazz Maybury and Kid Xtreme to victory over my former stablemates, Taranis, Gemma Lockhart and Brad Andrews. The great irony, I suppose, is that as The Advocate, I talked about the purity of the fire. And as my wrestling career heads into the sunset, the fire purifies itself. There is a lengthy silence as Carol Malechai shifts his gaze slowly from the camera, to his folded hands, and then back again. This leaves me with very few regrets indeed.
Timothy Fantuzzi, better known as Timmy Fantastico, was onto something pretty good when he pre-taped his identity check. And thats what Set Malachai is going to do.
