(Pardon The Interruption Welcome to Miami. We are at the IWA’s home offices for a special exclusive interview with IWA Superstar “Pryme-Time” Deion Bonds. Bonds has a lot on his mind, and he wanted to make sure all of the IWA fans were able to hear what he wants to say. Bonds wants to speak about the current state of the federation, as well as his recent problems with Heidi and the Andrews Foundation. Bonds is dressed very casual, but stylish as ever. Bonds is wearing a simple black T-Shirt with the words “The Pryme Objective” on the front, a pair of black Ecko jeans, and some platinum-colored Timberland boots. The former champion removes his sunglasses and takes one last drag off of his Kool cigarette before sitting in his chair. Bonds is in place, the camera crew is ready, and Mark Hemmingway is going through his final mic-check. This promises to be an interview that the IWA faithful will not soon forget. We join the action already in progress ) Mark Hemmingway: First of all “Pryme-Time”, welcome back. I just want to thank you for choosing me to give this interview, man. Deion Bonds: No problem, Hemmingway. Alls I need for you to do is ask me a few questions and then sit back and shut up, ‘cause I need to speak on some thangs. And I know the peoples want to know what's on my mind. Hemmingway: Okay. Let’s get started. First of all, as everyone knows now, the IWA has let the Coalition of Afilliated Leagues. This is a huge decision, what are your thoughts on the matter? Bonds: Well, to tell you the truth I’m glad we left. The CAL never did a damn thang for me. My chacks say “IWA” on the top, and that’s all that matters. The fans and them fools on the internet want to make a big deal ouuta this, but its simple we were the best thang goin’ in the CAL, but them jokers never showed us the proper respect. All them BWWA/TIW/NEW fools were getting’ all the title shots. Did they ever holla at Fred Phoenix, or Neo, or Hemmingway: (sheepishly) Well actually Bonds: It don’t matter, them bastards took the I-Dubya-A, and “Pryme-Time” for granted. So I’m happy we seceded, this is our Independence Day. We ‘bout to show the world that it was the CAL who needed us, not the other way around It’s time for me and all the other boys in the back to step up and take this thang to the next level. Ya feel me? Hemmingway: (as un-cool as humanly imagineable) I feel you dog. Now, speaking of “the boys”, what are your thoughts on the current Innovative Wrestling Alliance roster? Bonds: (smirking) The roster is as talented as it’s ever been, and that’s saying a hell of a lot. When’s the last time you came back to the locker room, Hemmingway? Because when I look around that locker room, I see plenty of talented cats with something to prove. If I look to the right I see the Andrews Foundation. Granted they’re some twisted egomaniacal sonofabiatchs, but they can get it done in the ring. If I look to the left, I see Freddy “by God” Phoenix. This man is one of the best that ever done it. He is damn-near a legend, and nobody can take that from him. Keep looking Hemmingway, who do you see? I see Gazz Maybury, the IWA South-Atlantic Champeen, and “Wildcard” Chance Runnels, our Triple-Crown Champion you tellin’ me that they can’t pack a house? I can go on; Neo, Taranis, Adam Delicious, Daeriq Damian, The Sinful eXperience, these are experienced wrasslers who leave everything they have in the ring. Hell, even the young cats like Argus, Hunter, the Dominators, and the Prodigys know what it means when they step through those ropes. Hell, I even hear Hawk's on the way back. See Hemmingway, when you go through those doors and head to the back, I see all types of different cats, but we all got one thing in common we all bust our @$$es out there in that ring for the gold, for the respect, and for the fans. That type of dedication is what is going to set IWA apart from all of these other rooty-poo, ham & egg promotions around the country. Hemmingway: You mentioned the Andrews Foundation. What are your thoughts about that group. Bonds: Like I said, they’re as talented as they come. Andrews, Scott, Long, & Heidi. You can’t hate on what they’ve been able to accomplish in this game, but If they think they’re gonna run around and dictate what goes on in this company, they’re dead wrong. I don’t give a damn who they think they are, I am the future of this bidness, and I bow to no one. And if they’ve got a problem with me, all they gotta do is holla at a brotha. I’m not a hard man to find, I’m in the yellow pages under “@$$-Whuppins”. And that goes for the rest of the roster, too. You line ‘em up and I’ll shut ‘em down. Hemmingway: Good stuff, man. Any final comments for the people out there? Bonds: You damn skippy, man! I hate to blow my own horn Hemmingway, but do you know what I’ve accomplished? I’ve held three different singles titles since joining this company. I’ve put on classic matches with everyone from Taranis, Heidi, Neo, & D. Leprechaun to Gazz & Big D. Man, I am the “new franchise player” in the I-Dubya-A. So to the boys in the back, the bottom line is this: you need to bring your “A” game into the ring when you face me. I’m not going out there just to beat you or to win a belt, I’m going out there to show each and every fan out there why this is one of the best wrasslin’ promotions in the country today. (Bonds stands up and looks directly into the camera) This is the start of a new era for The IWA, and For Deion Bonds. From this point forward, I’m only about the “Pryme-Objective” Money, Power, & Respect! And anyone who gets in my way will become a “Pryme-Example” of why you don’t mess with the “Sun-Tanned Superman”, and that’s me. To paraphrase the late, great Rick James; “I’m Deion Bonds, b###h!” And it’s my time, “Pryme-Time” and it’s about damn time! (With that, Bonds removes his microphone and walks away.) Hemmingway: Well, there you have it folks. “Pryme-Time” Deion Bonds has just expressed his thoughts on a lot of different topics.
