The mini-games are better than KOK 2001, but it's still just a straight ladder system. Where is the changing of weight classes and the more intricate parts of career mode that EA was boasting about? Also, Big Tigger as the commentator sucks. I like BT on Rap City, but they should have brought back Kellerman & Atlas. They also needed more licensed fighters. So, to sum it all up...the game is good, but nowhere near as good as it was hyped up to be. It was a good rental & my friends & I enjoyed it, but I can't see paying $50.00 for that career mode. It's a good start, but I'l save my Fitty Bucks until FN2005. --Nate/PTDB
The actual gameplay is sweet (I use controller mode 3 or 4...the combination between face buttons & TPC).
- Very Critical Of Boxing Games.
- KOK 2001, Hollyfield Boxing, & MT Punch Out are my top 3 all-time boxing games.
- FN2004 might be in my all-time top 5...but EA made out like it was going to be the best boxing game ever.
