Yeah, on the heavybag you need to get the thing swinging good. Don't just punch left right in rapid-fire. It's all about timing. You need to start with a pretty good shot (usually on the right side). Let the bag swing to the left as far as it can, and then swing as the bag is coming back towards you (like you're hitting someone in the bak as they pass you). It took me about three times through, but once you get it, you can score major points. The only mini-game that gives me trouble is the sparring.
