Well I haven't replied that soon have I, it's taken me 4 years! Hopefully you're still on this email? Someone from my past got in touch with me recently which prompted me to look at this site - I then found your email below and was a little shocked/pleased to say the least!
You are right, my father is Gordon Brewer Jacomb who sadly died very suddenly from a heart attack in 1994 aged 49 years. His father is Maurice Jacomb in Edinburgh (they were estranged until they reunited briefly in Edinburgh in 1993, the year before my father died). It would seem that your father is my grandfather, and I guess that makes me your niece and you may aunt?! I do hope that Maurice is still alive and well? I guess he'll be in his late 80's now?
My father did marry twice, but had a daughter and son (not 2 daughters) with my mother, his first wife. I am his eldest and now 36, and my brother, Nick, is 34. We both live in Bristol. I am married with 2 young daughters and Nick is still living the 'single' lifestyle!
