My father was Edward Jacomb of Manchester, England.
Oboist, played with Halle Orchestra in Manchester, then emigrated to Durban, South Africa where continued musical career with South African Broadcasting Orchestra, Johannesburg Symphony Orchestra. I'm delighted to find this information on Jacombs as I knew nothing of the name before this. Thank you!
