Just saw your message on the Jacombs site.Look at the Jacombs 1881 census. My great grandad was named Elijah. My dad was Arthur Elijah Barnes.
6 Navigation Street still stands today - same brickwork but being used as an old factory.
I do not go on the family tree line much. Our Chris seems to have all the records of the tree Raymond built up but I understand he will not let anyone see them. I asked his daughter two years ago to ask him but have heard nothing since.
Did you get that message I sent about Donalds son Dale backpacking across the world starting in September calling at Australia next year.
Have had a lot of trouble with computer - three Trojan virus in six months, also had E mails from people I do not know, some near the mark and some offering me a percentage of untold millions stashed away by some tin pot black dictator of a starving African state. Even the Australian lottery keep telling me I have won and I have never done their lottery.
If I cannot identify the E mail sender I usually dump the Email now.
How are all the family in Australia keeping. I hope you get together more often than mine in England. That is one of main reasons we came to Spain.
We lived 18 miles away in Telford and in 30 years I would say that in that time, [except for visits from our Donald], five visits from the rest of the family in Walsall would be an over estimation.
Life is short Mike so see as much of each other as you can.
Let me know if you got that message about Dale and his backpacking.
