Saw your request today. I would probably have most of what you want - going back to the 1500's.
If i am right your grandfather was also a Charles who married a Gladys Lily Thompson. Your father would be either William John or (another) Charles.
If you can help by telling me your more recent family I should be able to give you a "Pedigree" tree.
