"Washing Horses in the Seine," an etching, was published in the 1883 edition of "The Portfolio" as an illustration to a long article by the magazine's publisher Philip Hamerton about Paris. It was etched while Jacomb-Hood was still a student in Paris. I am afraid it is not particularly valuable, but it is a fine example of one of Hood's early etchings.
