Posted by Matt on 6/15/2001, 7:38 pm One thing you might have picked up on is that there aren't currently any Births or Marriage records in their respective sections. This is because they all have to be transcribed by hand from the indexes on microfiche/microfilm at the local record office and this takes a considerable length of time. There is however a good 65 odd years of Death records on the Deaths page. If anybody could help out with the transcription of these records for the surnames detailed on the Notes page it would be greatly valued. Hopefully this Message Board will be a place where requests for info and postings of genealogical info can be done. But you can post what you like really - within reason. All the best, Matt Jacomb

It's been a long time in the pipeline but it's finally here. The main aim of the site is to link up all the Jacombs around the world and link up the individual family trees.
Everything is operating as it should be but please let me know if you spot any glitches round and about either by email to the webmaster or by a post on here. The only thing that isn't operating on the site at the moment is the Guestbook but this will be rectified as soon as possible.
This Message Board allows you to post links to pages and images that are online when you post a message.
Anyway, let me know what you think of the site.
