My gggrandmother Alice JACOMB married Joseph
TOWERS in Catthorpe, Nov.28.1822 and raised 5
children, one of which, James, born Sept.24.1826,
was my ggrandfather.
Alice was the daughter of John JACOMB and Eliz.
Pettifer, married Jan.01.1790, in Swinford.
Alice was born Jan.03.1796 in Swinford and died
in 1839 in Catthorpe. Her mother Elizabeth died
in 1801 and her father John remarried to Dorcas
PAGE, May 20.1802, and had two more children,
John born Feb.01.1803 in Shawell, and Dorcas born
Nov.19.1809.
