Dearly Beloved Praying Partners, Greetings in the Matchless Name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Today at 9.30pm NDTV 24x7 News Channel, presented the happenings in Orissa under the title 'Khandamal - The Laboratory of Hate' It is very sad to see the Members of the Body of Christ are ebing tortured for their faith on Christ Jesus. We do not know the reason for this situation but we know that our Lord has allowed these things to happen this way. Immediately after the martyrdom of Stephen during the Days of Early Church, there was a great harvest of souls, including the salvation of Paul, the Persecutor of God's People. Let us unite our hearts and minds together and intercede for the People of God in Orissa. My youngest Son, Mr.Prince who serves the Lord with 'Gospel For Asia' forwarded the News given below for the Prayers. It seems he has received from very reliable sources known to him. I am forwarding the same for your information for intercessory Prayers. When the Early Church went through the Furnace of Persecution, the people of God sttod before the Lord and prayed for His intervention - by lifting their voices together with one united mind to God and said, O Sovereign Lord, You are He who made the heaven and Earth and the Sea and every thing that is in them, Who by the mouth of our fore father David, Your Servant and Child said through the Holy Spirit, why did heathen become wanton and insolent and rage and the people imagine and study and plan vain (friutless) things (that will not succeed)? The kings of the Earth took their stand in array (for attack) and the rulers were assembled and combined together against the Lord and against His Anointed (Christ, the Messiah) ..... Now, Lord observe their threats and grant to Your bond Servants to declare Your message fearlessly, while You stretch out Your hand to cure and to perform signs and wonders through the authority and by the power of the name of Your holy Child and Servant Jesus. And when they had prayed the place in which they were assembled was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and they continued to speak the Word of God with freedom and boldness and courage.
