You know, it's funny that you mention the length of time it's going to take you to get things going. We bought our first largescale set long before we made the move to an outside layout and I think we're going on our third year in the backyard now. When I stand back and look at the progress I can't help but wonder what I've done in that period of time. For me, the planning stage was terrible. Then the starting stage seemed like a nightmare (I'm too fussy). And now, I've come to realize that this is a never ending hobby that I think is going to provide many more years of great fun, education and all out enjoyment!
