I recently bought the Gebhardt from Berkshire Record Outlet for $48 and although I like it I think the sound is a bit thin. I agree with Richard that the sound is more immediate than the EMI, but definitely thinner and in some places almost "tinny," if you know what I mean. EMI has always done a good job of remastering old recordings, but they can be somewhat subdued. Depending on your taste, it's a toss up between the Gebhardt and the EMI.
