Hi -- yes I am a great Kollo fan myself as well, very underrated in my view. He may not have been a heldentenor, but he knew how to use his voice probably better than any of his rivals (let alone his understanding of wagnerian style..) Speaking of Dresden Staatskapelle what are your thoughts on the Janowski Ring? Or thoughts generally on ring cycle recordings.
