It's a bit silly to name everyone I ever discussed the topic with and list the people who liked him, but it was a non-zero number. But I agree, most people don't like him here and I can sympathize with it. For me he brings a kind of gruffness to the character which suits it very well and he phrases very nicely. But it's in the ear of the beholder....
