I am inclined to agree. In praise of this `Ring`, one can point out Thielemann`s almost perfect conducting and some great roles like Pieczonka`s Sieglinde or Siegel`s Mime. Alberich, Wotan, Siegmund, Siegfried, Fricka, Fafner and even Brunnhilde are also decently sung. This performance may well become the model of doing the `Ring` for the forthcoming decades.
