Its not very good - there is hardly any audience noise so I think there quite a few rehearsals patched in - Wiener is thoroughly terrible as Sachs - even if his high baritone were right for the part which it isn;t, its hard to accept such pinched, quavery singing. I love Hotter but he was in very bad voice for this performance. Thomas and Watson are OK as the lovers but Keilberths reading just sits there - no point to the conducting at all,the sound is quite nice but really I'm not sure its even worth ten bucks Richard
