The sampler disc for the Wiener Statsoper Live collection on Koch Classics (copyright 1994) promises that volume 9 will include excerpts from an October 13, 1936 Walkure conducted by Hans Knappertsbusch.
BUT Volume 9 of the Wiener Staatsoper Live
(copyright 1994) says this performance is actually conducted by Bruno Walter.
