Posted by Ebbe Foege Bak I have the 1996-Bayreuth-Parsifal on CDs and Elming is fine in this production but there are a few of the high notes where there are small problems for him but his portrait of Parsifal is fine. By the way Elming is also a very good Eisenstein is "Die Fledermaus". As far as I know Elming did have some problems with the role of Lohengrin because of some of the high notes but again I have heard from others that his portrait of Lohengrin was fine.
