mystery conductor, appeal for information.

I am seeking information about a german conductor who conducted Ring cycles in Germany during the seventies and Bruckner in Japan, only Japan. The name i have is Hans Dieter Haunschied but i may have spelling incorrect.i have tried googling etc but to no avail. Can any board reader help?
