I believe the most eminent events were Goetterdaemmerung and Parsifal (although I agree that Rheingold was perfect as well).
Especially Parsifal: I was surprised by wonderful (spontaneous, emotional) performance of Herlitzius as Kundry. Perhaps Holl`s voice arises some doubts initially but later on one gets convinced by his involvement in the role.
Fischer does not offer such an individualist and original conducting like, say, Boulez or Karajan but is a faultless Kappelmeister instead.
