Everybody is raving about the wonderful sound in the bayreuth-stereo ring with keilberth ;
what about the interpretation of the singers and the conductor compared with other complete Rings 1952-58 ?
the set is really quite expensive to buy just for fun . the Solti Ring is as well over-rated because of the sound ; it is really a very poor interpretation in my opinion .at that time the big public did not have so much comparison and Decca had a good propaganda for the expensive recording , with culshaw's books and everything .
is the same over-rating happening with the keilberth 55 ?
