I'm wondering; how about to discuus whta kind of tenor Alois Tichatschek was? Just imagine, a guy that was able to sing an almost 6h opera, that complained when cuts were made, etc., etc.,...
back in 1842, full chest voiced tenor singing was rare indeed, but, even so...
