It exists on both formats but I'm sure that in the regular DVD format it adds for almost nothing.
No German orchestra is below a good average, and St Clair is, among the seconds, a good 1st; the strong voca performance is from thr Jap bass tsumaya, which reminds me that , 40 years ago another great japanese bass sung in a Ring performance (Takao Okamura on Swarowsky's).
I've got also the Rattle Walküre on Blu Ray and GTD from a computer recording-released on BLU, it will be mandatory.
