After 54 years of thinking about it my brother-in-law and I are coming next week to see the 500.
Not knowing anything about the stuff in the area surrounding the race I'd like to ask you Indy-ites what should we do or not miss in the area while we're there. I'm especially interested in taking in another race and I've heard Indiana has more than on track 
. The Hoosier 100 perhaps? Also, we're camping at the track on Lot 4. Anything to avoid?
Any advice is appreciated.
